The Blue Cross/Blue Shield Federal Employee Program (FEP) provides a hearing aid benefits of up to $2500 with no co-pay or deductible. We are an in-network provider of these benefits.

That means we may be able to fit you with hearing aids at absolutely no cost to you. Take your BCBS FEP insurance card to one of our offices today. We will be glad to verify your benefits and test your hearing, at no charge or obligation.

The Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Employee Benefit pays the total cost of (2) Rely 4’s. Most Federal Government employees and retirees are eligible. Beltone’s Free Lifetime Care program is included.

Dr. Austin Black is from Louisville, Kentucky where he has worked for the Beltone there before moving to NW Florida. He has been in the hearing health care business for over 22 years. He went to school at the University of Kentucky for his Bachelors and then University of Louisville for his Master and Doctorate for his Au.D.

Austin grew up with Hearing loss, so he understands the obstacles that the hearing-impaired face every day. If you ask Dr. Black’s patients what they appreciate about him, they will typically tell you that he can relate to their daily challenges created by their hearing loss.

Austin has served on the Kentucky Academy of Audiology board and assists in the church band. He is married with 2 kids and enjoys playing music, video games with his kids, following tech trends, and getting people excited about new things.

M. Francee Laywell, M.A., CCC-A

Veteran Services Audiologist

Francee Laywell is a licensed audiologist in the state of Florida, and has more than 35 years of experience serving the hearing impaired. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at East Tennessee State University, and her Master of Arts degree from Memphis State University.

Francee has practiced Audiology in a variety of settings including Otolaryngology and Otology practices in Memphis, Tennessee, private hearing aid practices in Tallahassee and Marianna, and the Veteran’s Administration Health Systems in Tallahassee and Gainesville, Florida.

Francee is married with three children, and in her spare time enjoys spending time with family, gardening, running, and coaching high school cross country and track.
